TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Henry Trueman Wood, Society of Arts, John Street, Adelphi, W.C.
Date11 May 1897
DescriptionHarrison has been obliged to refer Wood's request of 6th May for additional Soirée tickets to higher authorities as he has no discretion in the matter of invitations.

These gatherings are now so crowded that the list of invitations is closely revised by a special Committee. Harrison is now able to send Wood a second invitation for the 19th, but in view of the circumstances he has already mentioned, and of the fact that members of the active Committee themselves have only four nominations to the list of guests, while ordinary Fellows do not claim any, the Committee do not feel at liberty to issue three additional tickets.
