TitleCopy letter from Michael Foster, to the Secretary of State for Home Affairs, The Home Office, S.W.
Date25 May 1897
DescriptionThe President, Council and Fellows of the Society have prepared a loyal address on the occasion of the 60th year [Diamond Jubilee] of the reign of Her Majesty and remind the Secretary that the privilege of presenting their addresses to the Sovereign, after having fallen into abeyance, was graciously restored to the Fellows in 1887.

Asks if it would be Her Majesty's pleasure that the Society should enjoy this privilege on the present occasion, and if so, on what day it will be convenient that the address should be thus presented.
