TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Manager, Direct Photo-Engraving Company
Date28 May 1897
DescriptionWith reference to the Manager's letter of the 14th, Harrison saw Professor [Arthur Mason] Worthington last week and Worthington is quite certain that the complete series number six of his plates have not been returned to him and Harrison is equally certain that none of them have been retained at the Society.

Three of the negatives of series six are missing and Harrison thinks the Manager will find that the acknowledgements given at the Society have been simply for the boxes or packages containing various series. Harrison asks for a careful search for the negatives to be made.

Regarding the question of reprinting the plate of this series, Harrison does not at all follow the Manager's contention that the reprint was almost almost twice the size of the plate rejected by Professor Worthington. Harrison thinks the Manager is confusing this with some previous question in the early stages of the reproduction of these plates. As far as Harrison can see the reprint of series six is just the same size as the first print. In the circumstances Harrison thinks the Manager is hardly justified in charging the full price of the plate for the reprint.
