TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Edward Albert Sharpey-Schafer, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chairman of the Physiology Committee
Date28 May 1897
DescriptionProfessor [Charles Scott] Sherrington's report on Risien Russell arrived yesterday morning by post, although it is dated 29th May. As Schafer will see, it is to much the same effect as Dr [David] Ferrier's report, and as the resolution of the Committee left Schafer the power to act in the matter of reporting to the Council if the referee's reports agree, Harrison supposes he may expect Harrison's decision on the paper. Asks for both reports to be returned.

Regarding the papers by Dr Gillespie and Doctors Ferrier and Turner, Harrison shall be glad to know whether he has authority to print the abstracts, as that point was not dealt with by the Committee when they referred the papers.
