TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Richard Tetley Glazebrook, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date31 May 1897
DescriptionRucker today sends S P Thompson's report on [a paper by Joseph Wilson] Swan. The only question is whether Glazebrook would like a second referee. If not, Rucker will obtain an estimate of the cost before the Committee meets. There is 'of course' no doubt but that the paper must be accepted.

Rucker has also heard from [Arthur] Schuster that Schuster has confined[?] himself to Knott's present work. Rucker has therefore accepted the paper and ordered it for 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', on the authority of the Chairman and Secretary.
