TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Joseph Norman Lockyer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 June 1897
DescriptionIn reply to Lockyer's note of the 29th, Harrison has received authority to accede to Lockyer's request to reproduce the blocks in his paper for an article in 'Nature', and for the purpose of Lockyer's forthcoming book. Harrison will send instructions to Messrs Harrisons to provide Lockyer with cliches as soon as he finds out which blocks Lockyer requires.

Harrison is afraid there is nothing in the collotype process which could be supplied to Lockyer to facilitate a reproduction of the photographs, which Harrison believes will have to be reproduced afresh.
