TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Herbert Hall Turner, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date27 July 1897
DescriptionIn reply to Turner's note of yesterday, Harrison regrets to find Mrs Stone's note sending the obituary notice of Mr Gould has not been acknowledged. Harrison is writing to Mrs Stone and explaining the circumstances to her.

Mr Stone had promised to write a notice of Mr Gould for the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society]', so Harrison does not understand Dr Frankland asking Turner to write one. Frankland's letter did not go out from the Royal Society's office and Harrison was not aware of its having been written. The notice by Mr Stone will be published in due course.
