TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to William Turner Thiselton-Dyer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 July 1897
DescriptionHarrison has received from Professor [Michael] Foster, Professor [Isaac]Bayley Balfour's report on Professor [Frederick Orpen] Bower's paper on Marattiaceae, with a note to the effect that it will have to be considered side by side with Dr Scott's report. Harrison presumes Dyer has seen Bower's report and if so asks if Dyer would like to see Scott's report again before giving an opinion as to the destination of the paper. Foster is coming to the Society tomorrow, and if the matter can be decided this week, before the Officers go abroad, it will expedite the publication of the paper.
