TitleCopy letter from Theodore E James, to Messrs Edison & Swan, 53 Parliament Street, S.W.
Date18 August 1897
DescriptionWith reference to the enclosed account for lamps [not attached], these were ordered at the May Soirée for an Exhibitor, but the three clear and three obscured were never used, and were directed to be returned at once to the Messrs. It appears they were lost sight of owing to the electricians removing them to their offices. Subsequently they were returned but not reported and so the matter was overlooked. Hopes the Messrs can receive them now.
