TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor John Scott Burdon-Sanderson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 October 1897
DescriptionIn going through the documents connected with award of medals Harrison finds Sanderson's note of the 9th September relating to the Buchanan Medal, to which Mr James in Harrison's absence replied. As no statement of claim on behalf of Sir J Simon has been sent in by Professor Clifford Allbutt, Harrison presumes he is relying upon Sanderson to furnish it and Harrison will therefore be much obliged if Sanderson can see his way to sending in a brief statement at his earliest convenience.

A special Committee reported in favour of awarding the medal to Sir J Simon and Harrison would be glad to know whether Sanderson thinks this report should be printed with the statement of claim.
