TitleCopy letter from E Frankland, to Signor G Colombo, President of Associazione Electrotecnica Italiana, Via S Paolo, 10, Milan
Date29 October 1897
DescriptionColombo's letter of the 25th September was brought before Council yesterday. It appears to the Council somewhat anomalous for a Society to be collectively appointed to Membership of any Committee and still more unusual for any such step to be taken without their authority having been previously obtained. Requests Colombo therefore removes the name of the Royal Society from the list of the Committee for Erecting a Monument to Galileo Ferraris.
