TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Richard Tetley Glazebrook, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date1 November 1897
DescriptionTwo papers were brought before the Committee of Papers on Thursday which had been sanctioned on the vacation for the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', both are either published or nearly published, but neither have been formally before the Sectional Committees. Discusses the summoning of Sectional Committees which have few papers to deal with and the idea of going direct to the Committee of Papers and afterwards to the Sectional Committees as a matter of form.

A paper has come in by [Victor Herbert] Veley for the 'Transactions' and Rucker has accepted the abstract for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Suggests the type of referees that should be appointed to this paper and suggests Griffiths and [James] Heywood.
