DescriptionWith reference to the Foster's letter of the 30th July giving particulars of the composition of the expedition about to be sent out to India to observe the solar eclipse in January 1898, the constitution of the observing party has been altered. Dr A A Common is prevented from joining and Dr Ralph Copeland with an assistant, Mr Macpherson, will proceed to Nagpur, sailing in the 'Britiania', due at Bombay on 27th December.
