DescriptionWith reference to the letter of the Secretaries dated 20th November, a letter has this morning been received from the India Office, forwarding seven authorizations, now enclosed [not attached], for the observers named in the Secretaries letter, to enable them to claim exemption from Customs duty on the scientific instruments under their charge on arrival at Bombay. Forwards a copy of a letter received from the Colonial Office relating to the landing of the parties at Colombo [not enclosed].
