TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to William Henry Mahoney Christie, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date29 November 1897
DescriptionA few days since Rucker received a letter from the India Office asking for immediate details as to the observing parties. [Andrew Ainsle] Common informed him that Christie had written to Sir C Bernard last week giving full details. Rucker therefore sent an unofficial letter in reply and is sending copies of the correspondence to Common. Asks if Christie or Common will supply the necessary information direct to the India Office or send it to Rucker to transmit.
