TitleCopy letter from John Evans, to F D Williams, Gray's Court
Date1 December 1897
DescriptionWith reference to Evan's interview with Williams on the 17th November, the President and Council approve of the proposal that Miss Flora Mackinnon should take the decorations and personal nick-nacks belonging to her late brother, at Mr Banting's valuation. They regret that under the terms of the will they seem to be precluded from presenting them to her.

Expresses the Society's gratefulness at the liberality of Sir William Mackinnon in devoting so large a sum towards the advancement of science.
