TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Edwin Ray Lankester, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date10 December 1897
DescriptionSends herewith Mr Tomes' paper, which Tomes has revised in the sense urged by Lankester's Sectional Committee. There is an illustrations, photograph number 13, to which Tomes attaches particular importance and which he would be glad to have introduced. Quotes an extract of a letter from Tomes on the introduction of this illustration.

Tomes also asks to withdraw the last part of the paper on the structure of enamel in fish, which the Committee decided is better suited to a separate communication. Asks if Lankester now passes the paper for publication. Encloses the referee's reports for information with the passages marked by Lankester himself for communication to the author [not enclosed].
