TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor H Marshall Ward, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date18 January 1898
DescriptionAsks for a reference to an account of Matruchet's work in germinating the spores of the mushroom, which Marshall Ward mentioned in his address to the British Association in August [1897]. A student friend of Harrison's has asked for the reference.

Enquires whether Marshall Ward made a mistake in requesting 100 gratuitous copies of the abstract for his paper on 'Stereum hirsutum' and suggests that Marshall Ward actually wanted copies of the full paper.
