TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Miss Chambers
Date31 March 1898
Description'Correspondence re Catalogue Sc. Pps.

Herewith letter I have received [not enclosed] from the Director of Kew Gardens, enclosing letter from youself and him, and Vol. of Bulletin Soc: Hort: Belg: on loan to Roy. Socy. The letter & book have been acknowledged.

I am certainly of opinion that the rule that "all letters written on the business of the Society must be brought to the Asst Secretary for signature" should be observed in the case of those written on Catalogue business wherever practiceable - more especially when a request is made on behalf of the Roy: Socy. to an outside body. Such letters should be written in copying ink and sent upstairs to be signed, copied, & despatched. All letters on Socy's business should be despatched through the office.
