Date28 April 1898
DescriptionThe Committee of the Royal Society has now completed the Report on the proposed International Catalogue of Scientific Literature which the International Conference of 1896 requested it to draw up. Copies of the Report have been sent to the Marquis of Salisbury requesting that invitations will be issued for another Conference or Convention for the purpose of considering the Report and, if deisrable, or taking action upon it.

The Committee wish the proposed Catalogue to be useful to Libraries as well as to workers in science and therefore encloses two copies of the report [not enclosed]. Be grateful to receive any suggestions.
