DescriptionThe Treasurer and Secretaries [of the Royal Society] have decided to suggest to Miss [Calderven] in her present sad circumstances that she should take a fortnight's leave of absence from her work here. Have written officially to her accordingly.

Regarding her work of indexing on which she was working, it must be suspended unless one of the other ladies is now free from the Catalogue translating to proceed with the Index.
