TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Secretary, Office of Works
Date5 May 1898
DescriptionWith reference to the alterations about to be made in the drainage and sanitary fittings of this building, must draw attention to the inadequacy of the lavatory accommodation. Would appreciate an extension of this accommodation. There are 15 ladies at work on the staff, for whom no special lavatory accommodation is available, and it is very desirable that a special closet and lavatory accommodation should be arranged in the basement for their use with access there also. Would also appreciate increased lavatory accommodation for Fellows on ground and first floors.

The Council will be glad to hear that the Secretary will authorize his Clerk of the Works to confer with Harrison on the subject and carry out this slight modification to the original plans proposed.
