DescriptionBeen directed by the Council to say that the Committee of Papers have agreed to publish Ramsay's paper "On a new constituent of atmospheric air" in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', but the President and Council wish to express their regret that this paper was communicated to the Academie des Sciences before being read to the Royal Society.

Ramsay's later paper, 'On the Companions of Argon' has also been ordered for the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'.
