DescriptionEncloses herewith all the sheets composing the Eclipse number of 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Asks for Rucker to pass them with any suggestions as they are now ready for press. Sir Norman Lockyer suggests 150 copies of his report should be sent to Admiralty, asks if Rucker authorizes this. Asks if index slips will be required. Asks for the return of the proof of Lees' 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' paper, sent to Rucker a days ago, so that it may go to press. Encloses two concluding sheets of number 400 of the 'Proceedings' which they ask Rucker to pass as soon as possible. Also encloses a letter regarding the Falmouyh Observatory. The letter to the India Office still awaits Rucker's Magnetic Minute. [No enclosures].
