TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Everard W Wylde, The Foreign Office, Downing Street, S.W.
Date28 July 1898
DescriptionHas looked over the letters received from the Foreign Office notifying the appointment of delegates to the forthcoming International Conference on the Catalogue of Scientific Literature, and finds that replies to the invitation of this country have been received from; Belgium, Denmark, Japan, Mexico, Russia and Switzerland, Lists the counties without official nominations. Regarding the United States, as Wylde is aware, though no official nomination has been received, the appointed delegates have actually arrived in England.

No official invitation has reached the Academy of Sciences at Munch, which on the former occasion was appealed to by the German Government to nominate one of the representatives for that country. This representative took, and has continued to take, a very active interest in the catalogue and has been expecting to receive some official intimation of the approaching conference.

The Society would be glad to have the name of all delegates as soon as practicable.
