DescriptionIn answer to Chambers' letter addressed to the Secretary, it is the strict rule of Officers not to allow gentlemen connected with the press to attend meetings of the Society with the view of furnishing reports of the proceedings. Exceptions are sometimes made when meetings are held of a special nature, but direct permission has to be obtained from the Secretaries.
