TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Ludwig Mond, Fellow of the Royal Society, Hotel Bristol, Berlin
Date30 September 1898
DescriptionReceived Mond's telegram yesterday and at once communicated with the Foreign Office who informed him that an invitation to the [International Catalogue] conference was sent to Germany some months ago, but they would telegraph. As far as he can learn the unaccountable delay rests with the authorities in Berlin. All the European Governments have been very tardy over their nominations and he has not yet received the names from France, Austria or Italy, though the Foreign Office is assured that these Government are making the appointments.

Encloses a letter relative to Mond's attendance at the Conference [not enclosed].
