TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Joseph Larmor, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date6 October 1898
DescriptionOn 18th July Professor [Arthur William] Rucker returned for Larmor's further consideration, a copy of the claims for a medal on behalf of Professor [George Francis] Fitzgerald. It is important that the various medal claims be circulated to the Council very shortly and Harrison shall be greatly obliged if Larmor can let him have Fitzgerald's claims back at once. Encloses a single sheet of Fitzgerald's claims [not attached].

Fitzgerald has been proposed by Larmor for the Rumford Medal and Clifton for a Royal Medal, but Harrison presumes that the claims that Larmor will send in will cover both.
