DescriptionMr W Eagle Clarke, Assistant in the Natural History Department of the Museum of Science and Art, Edinburgh, has received money from the Government Grant Fund to assist him in making observations at Ushant on the migration of birds. Clarke will be accompanied by the ornithologist T G Laidlaw, and anticipates considerable difficulty in finding any residence on the island.

The President and Council express their hope that the Marquis of Salisbury will be willing to give Clarke such introductions or other assistance as may be necessary to assist him.
