DescriptionAt the last Council the Honorary Secretaries application for a grant in aid of the publication of the following papers was presented: Dr Charles Immanuel Forysth Major, 'Of Fossil Lagomorphous Rodentia' and Dr Elliot Smith, 'On the Anatomy of the Brain in Edentata'. Council have resolved to grant £100 from the Publication Fund to the Linnean Society in aid of these papers and a cheque shall be forwarded on application.

At the same Council the Secretaries letter relating to the publication of the section 'Peridiniaceae' of Messrs Murray & Blackman's paper was read, and it was agreed to vote £80 from the Publication Fund in aid of the publication of this paper if the Linnean Society will undertake to publish it.
