DescriptionThe notice sent out for a meeting of the Malaria Committee was issued without explanation immediately after the Council Meeting but Professor [Michael] Foster now desires Harrison to explain to those who were not present at the last Council meeting that the matter under reference has arisen out of a request from the Secretary of State for the Colonies, that the Council would appoint a Committee to consult with representatives of the Colonial Office with a view to a through investigation being undertaken into malarial fever. The meeting tomorrow is to be held for a preliminary discussion of the matter under reference.
