DescriptionThe Secretary's letter B.4604/98 of the 6th was laid before the Council at their meeting and Harrison is directed to give instructions to the Office of works that the alterations at Burlington House regarding lavatories may be proceeded with without delay as they are of urgent necessity.

Asks the Secretary to submit to Her Majesty's Commissioners of Works the Council's request for a reconsideration of the decision to charge the whole of the alterations to the Society. Explains briefly why the cost should be defrayed.
