TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor G H Darwin, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date25 January 1899
DescriptionThanks Darwin for his card about Levy's book.

The second entry referred to against Darwin's name in the List of Fellows was made on the authority of a postcard from him, which Harrison encloses [not enclosed]. The Accademia Nuovi described is a distinct institution from the Reale Accademia being a branch of the Pontifical Academy and having a separate publication from the Rendiconti of the Reale Accademia. Took postcard to mean that Darwin had been elected into the Nuovi, of which Lord Kelvin is and the late Sir George Airy was also a member. The entry shall be corrected for the next edition.
