The Royal Society is in correspondence with some of their American colleagues as to whether the National Academy is [next] representative of the Science of the United States.

Have heard from Rykatcheff that the nomination of Mr Koppen as the representative of Russia on the Catalogue Committee will be formally communicated to the Academy and to the Russian Government and to the [British] Foreign Office.
