DescriptionThe President of the French "Academie des Sciences" has signified to the President of the Royal Society the adhesion of the Academy to the principle that meetings should be held at regular intervals between representatives of the principal Scientific Academies.

The French Academy reserves the right to discuss the question of the number of the meetings to be held and the mode of organization.
