TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to W E Wilson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 March 1899
DescriptionOn looking through Wilson's paper, notices that he does not refer to [the link] which has already been done on the same subject. The method which Wilson describes as being suggested to him by [Lanchester] [Lankester?] was described by [Lehman & Prugsheim] in 1895. The method has also been adopted by the [Rembranstadt] in Berlin.

Rucker sent on the paper to the Chairman of the Physics Sectional Committee, who has read the paper by [Lehman & Prugsheim] and does not think that Wilson's paper covers any new ground. Under the circumstances, Rucker has therefore not accepted the paper as he thinks that Wilson would probably prefer to withdraw it.
