DescriptionHas received Rucker's note and enclosures. Will attack the draft letter to institutions tomorrow and is currently getting the National Physical Laboratory scheme printed off in its final form. The Department has approved the verbal alteration made by the Council on thursday.

The Council referred to the question of Mr Mallock's long-delayed paper to the Secretaries and the Chairman of the Physics and Chemistry Committee with power to act.

Will send for signature the letters to authors whose papers were passed on Thursday unless Rucker thinks that Dr Foster should sign them.
