TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Christopher Addison, University College, Sheffield
Date10 January 1899
DescriptionAddison's letter to Professor [Arthur William] Rucker has been passed to Harrison. It is contrary to the practice of the [Royal] Society to allow a manuscript to leave their possession after it has been deposited with them but that permission is freely given to authors to make copies. The Council, however, sometimes grants permission to an author to have returned to him any plates illustrating a paper. Suggests making an application to Council.
