TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to the Secretary, [illegible] Office, E.C.
Date10 January 1899
DescriptionReferring to his recent correspondence with the Department on the subject of the registration of a telegraphic address for the Royal Society, Harrison says that none of the suggestions put forward are suitable. In view of this, and having regard to the well-known position of the Royal Society in London, ask whether there would be any objection to the Society's adopting without registration the address "Royal Society, London". Understands that the Royal Institution have done similar recently.
