TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Sir Norman Lockyer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date29 May 1899
DescriptionMr Budge's paper on "The Orientation of the Pyramids and Temples in the Sudan" has been returned to two referees, and Rucker encloses extracts of the reports of these referees [not enclosed]. The referees think that there is too much archaeological content.

If the author is willing to comply with the recommendations of the referees then the paper will be published in the 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Asks Lockyer to bring the referees' views before the author.
