TitleCopy letter from Arthur William Rucker, to Professor Diels, Vorsitz. Secretar der K.P. Akademie der Wissenschaften, Berlin
Date30 May 1899
DescriptionGlad to hear that all went well in Munich and are sending to Professor Pettenkofer an official acknowledgement to his telegram.

As to the question of the extent of the organization, although the Cartell includes within its scopes other subjects than Natural Science, the new Association of Academies was to be confined to the Academies of Science. If the Association was enlarged to include other subjects it will probably be necessary to divide it in to sections capable of independent action. Discusses other implications of including other subjects. Thinks the topic should be reserved for discussion at Wiesbaden.
