TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Henry Wilde, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date13 January 1899
DescriptionIn reply to letter, is sorry that the addition of the title, which has been inserted in the List of Fellows after Wilde's name, has given him displeasure. It has long been the practice in this office to take not of distinctions conferred upon Fellows during the year and to add them to their designation in the List of Fellows. In the absence of any specific request from Wilde on the subject this was done in the case of his Honorary Membership of the Institution of Electrical Engineers. Will correct it for the next edition and other lists.
