TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Mr R C Archibald, Berlin
Date29 June 1899
DescriptionReplying to Archibald's enquiries in his letters of 22nd and 23rd June, Archibald will find particulars of Castiglions or Castillionsus in Poggendorff's 'Biographisch-literarisches Handworterbuch...'. Castilions edited an edition of Newton's 'Opuscula' published in Lausanne in 1744.

Concerning Joseph Jopling they do not know much beyond the works of which he was author; lists a few such works. Thinks Archibald will probably find the information he requires in the 'Dictionary of National Biography'. The original manuscript of the paper, printed in abridgement in the 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' volume six, does not appear to be among the Society's archives.
