DescriptionWith reference to the Secretary's letter of the 28th June which was laid before Council at its last meeting, Harrison is directed to thank the Secretary for calling attention to the deficiency in the constitution of the Joint Permanent Eclipse Committee. Council has nominated Dr T E Thorpe FRS to fill the vacancy amongst the Royal Society's representatives.
