DescriptionAcknowledges the Editor's letter to the President but as Lord [Joseph] Lister is out of town, it is out of Harrison's power to grant an interview to Mr Wilson as the Editor proposes. The organization of the proposed Antarctic Expedition us under consideration by a Joint Committee of the Royal Society and Royal Geographical Society. No definite steps likely to be of interest to the public have yet been taken and the Presidents of the two Societies are both out of London for some time.
