DescriptionThe Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury have requested Lister to convey their sense of the value of the services Perry has rendered respecting the settling of the clause now agreed upon for the protection of Government Observatories from the effects of electricity. Believes that steps will be taken under the cause for the protection of the Kew Observatory and trusts the Royal Society may count on Perry's further help in this matter.
