Date21 August 1899
DescriptionIn reply to the Secretary's letter of 15th August, the 'Challenger' Committee of the Royal Society distinctly approve of a complete set of the reports being presented to the Marine Biological Station of the Dominion of Canada.

The Committee further advise that the Accademia Pontificia de Nuovi Lincei, Rome should be presented with the volume of 'Deep Sea Deposits' and the two volumes of the 'Summary of Scientific Results'. The Accademia has inherited the volumes presented to Count Castracane, their late President, and the three volumes in question are needed to complete the set.
