TitleCopy address from Sir Joseph Lister, to the Connecticut Academy of Arts and Sciences on the occasion of their Centenary
Date23 September 1899
DescriptionSends brotherly greetings and hearty congratulations on the occasion of the Academy's centenary. The Royal Society remembers with pride how, since its early years, it has been able to count amongst its members many distinguished men of science dwelling on the other side of the Atlantic, including some from Connecticut.

Hopes that the Academy may enjoy continued prosperity and that the brotherly ties between the two organizations devoting themselves to improving natural knowledge may grow still stronger as the years pass.
