Description | Referring to the Messrs memorandum in answer to the Society's third enquiry regarding missing plates belonging to the 'Annales des Sciences Naturelles'. Is very disappointed that the Messrs cannot obtain the plates in question and is not at all prepared to buy another complete copy of the volume. Asks the Messrs to supply the plates without further expense to the Society, or in the event of their being unable to do so, to remove the 'Annales' from the Society's list of subscriptions. Considers this point a matter of principle upon which he is bound to assume a firm position. |
