DescriptionEncloses a cheque for £568.7.9 on account of printing the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' and 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society], and asks for receipt of the same'. Eighteen and six is deducted from the 'Proceedings' account of 19th April and this requires explanation. In the Michaelmas account a deduction is made of £2.8.9 for work for extraneous bodies. Asks the Messrs to abstract the entires and send two accounts for six shillings and £2.2.9, made out respectively to the National Physical Laboratory and the Antarctic Committee.

In future the Messrs should take special note that the banding and posting of 'Philosophical Transactions' is to be furnished as separate bills.
